Al-Azem Palace is a palace built by the governor of Damascus, Minister Asaad Al-Azem in 1749 AD, with a total area of 6400 square meters.
It is located at the northern end of Al-Bazouriya Market in Old Damascus, Syria, and to the north is the Great Umayyad Mosque.
The palace is considered a model of advanced Islamic architecture, as its planning, construction style, and decoration with stone, marble, wood, and metal represent a picture of the buildings of Damascus during the Ottoman era.
It consists of several sections
